The team is headed by Head Coach Mark Tyrrell. Mark has been a freelance coach for 10 years now, having been introduced to coaching when he offered to help his younger brother's U10 side at Wellington RFC.

Having gained experience around the country with a vast number of coaches, Mark's vision and philosophy of rugby for young players has lead to the success and rapid expansion of  Coachmark.

Josh Lenthall is the company's Senior Coach who started coaching aged 18 for a local school side. After success at the South Devon Sevens, he pursued a career in coaching by undertaking a degree at the University of Bath and an internship with Bristol Rugby. Josh now has experience in the South West and the South East.

About Coachmark

All Coachmark coaches have:

• An RFU qualification
• A Police Check
• A First Aid Qualification
• Have been trained in Child Protection & Coaching Disabled


Some Coachmark coaches have:

• Played at Professional or Semi-professional level
• Coached for Premiership Clubs and National Academies
• Played national representative rugby upto U21’s
• Had coaching experiences from Cornwall to the Highlands
• Worked for the RFU, SRU and WRU
• Degrees in Sports Science or Sports Management 
• Experiences of coaching and selecting at County level and beyond.
• Experiences of working for major sponsors within the game.
• Been trained as RFU, SRU and WRU Tutors and Assessors.
• Match analysis experience at Premiership level

Players coached by Coachmark have:

• Represented England U15-U21& A Team
• Played in the Premiership
• Played in the European Cup 
• Attended National Junior Academy
• Played for Welsh Ladies Students
